QUARTO-IMPÉRIO starts from "Caderno de Memórias Coloniais", by Isabela Figueiredo, to rummage through memories and beckon ghosts.
On stage, there is the book where we read what is not told to us. On stage is a body that dances what is unnameable.
It reconstructs the silence of memories that have faded in pain and incomprehension: "Among the victims, there are executioners".
As if it were the difficult word that the primary school teacher makes us repeat at school, we say it:
